How it all started...
Pastor Paul Sheley and his wife, Lynne, founded the church in early 2011 in the Sterling-Rock Falls area. Initially gathering at Woodlawn Arts Academy, the church later moved into its current location later that same year.

At 180 Church, we believe that ministering to children is a top priority. We are committed to reflecting the love of Jesus in all we do, especially in how we care for and nurture our little ones.

Our ministry in the Sauk Valley is dedicated to building a strong, Christ-centered family rooted in love, faith, and community. No matter where you are on your faith journey—whether you're exploring Christianity for the first time or have walked with Christ for years—you are welcome here. We believe in growing together, supporting one another, and creating a place where everyone feels valued, known, and loved. You don’t have to have it all figured out to belong—just come as you are and be part of the family.
